Berk İlbey Şahintürk is an associate in the Corporate/M&A team.
He advises domestic and multinational clients across a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and general corporate governance. İlbey also advises on commercial contracts and on compliance and regulatory matters, including data protection and competition law. He assists clients through complex cross-border transactions and ensuring compliance with both local and international legal frameworks.
İlbey has recently advised on UK-based MNK International Ltd.’s strategic expansion into the Turkish insurance market through its acquisition of 100% shares in ZNT Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş.
He graduated from Bilkent University Faculty of Law and obtained an LL.M. in European and International Business Law from the University of Vienna as a Jean Monnet scholar. İlbey has been a member of the Istanbul Bar Association since 2019.
