We are looking for a Junior Associate with strong expertise in employment law to join our team. This role offers direct client interaction, participation in high-scale projects, and the opportunity to collaborate with international teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law and admission to the Bar in Turkey,
- 2–3 years of professional experience in employment law, preferably in a reputable law firm or a global corporate group,
- Proven experience in large-scale projects, including contract drafting and revision, preparation of company policies and procedures, and day-to-day advisory services,
- Strong communication skills with the ability to attend and support client meetings,
Employment law knowledge is a must,
- Knowledge of regulatory & compliance matters and litigation is a strong plus,
- Excellent project management skills ensuring key deliverables are issued on time,
- Solid legal notion and eagerness to learn, develop and grow,
- Ability to follow legal and regulatory developments both in Turkey and worldwide,
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Providing legal assistance to national and multinational clients on employment law matters including but not limited to employment relations, secondments, social security and global employment,
- Attending client meetings and assisting on daily advisory requests,
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, agreements, policies, procedures and notifications,
- Supporting disputes and litigation matters when needed,
- Taking part in legal due diligence projects, contributing to reports and coordination,
- Collaborating with tax and legal advisors on cross-border projects,
- Conducting in-depth research to support legal strategies and provide insight-enabled recommendations,
- Following up on updates in legislation and preparing legal alerts/briefs,
- Developing knowledge of relevant rules and regulations by training participation, independent research, and continuous learning,
- Collecting, organizing, and analyzing information on client rights and obligations to prepare for legal transactions.
